1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how PCS Solutions ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the Trip Reality Check mobile application (the "App"). The App is a travel due-diligence tool for trips within India: it offers a curated destination guide with realistic hotel price bands, a hotel-listing scorecard, an independent trip-budget estimator, and optional live weather and hotel-price lookups.

2. Information We Collect

None. The App does not collect, transmit to us, or share any personal data or usage data. Specifically:

• The App requires no sign-up or account and asks for no email address or phone number.
• Everything you enter — hotel checks you save, custom destinations you add, and budget inputs — is stored only in the App's local storage on your own device. It is never uploaded anywhere.
• The App does not access your location, contacts, photos, files, device identifiers, or advertising identifiers.
• The App contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
• We operate no servers for this App and hold no data about you.

3. Internet Use: Live Weather (Open-Meteo)

The App has internet permission for one feature: when you tap "Live 7-day weather" on a destination card, the App requests a public weather forecast from Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com), a free, open weather service that requires no account or API key.

• The request contains only the public map coordinates of the destination (for example, Gangtok or Goa) — never your own location, never your identity, and never anything you typed into the App.
• The request is made only when you tap the button — the App makes no network calls in the background.
• Like any web request, Open-Meteo's servers technically receive your device's IP address in order to send the forecast back. Open-Meteo states that it does not use personal identifiers; see its privacy information at open-meteo.com.

4. External Links (Live Hotel Prices)

Buttons such as "Live prices · Google Hotels", "Live prices · Booking.com", and the hotel look-up shortcut open the relevant website in your device's own browser, outside the App. Once you are in your browser, the privacy policy of that website (Google or Booking.com) applies. The App passes only the destination or hotel name you are checking as the search term, and receives nothing back.

5. Data on Your Device

Saved hotel checks and custom destinations persist in the App's local storage so they are available on your next visit. They remain on your device under your control: you can remove saved checks inside the App, and uninstalling the App deletes everything it stored.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is a trip-planning tool for a general audience and collects no data from anyone, including children.

7. Your Rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our side. You are in full control: clear or remove entries inside the App, or uninstall it to remove everything.

8. Disclaimer on Travel and Price Information

Destination facts, weather behaviour, hotel price bands, scores, and budget estimates in the App are offered as general planning guidance, not as quotes, bookings, or professional advice. Live forecasts are provided by Open-Meteo as-is. Always verify prices, availability, permits, and conditions with the hotel, operator, or relevant authority before you book or travel.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page.
